A Season of Pause
Olá, Terrain família,
I’m writing to let you know that Terrain is entering a season of pause.
Terrain has reached a crossroads, and I’m choosing to meet it with space and intention rather than continuing by default.
Four years ago, I went looking for what it means to be well and came home from the Brazilian Amazon with bottles of plant oils in my hands and a brand I had not planned.
What started as an intimate quest for nourishment after a cancer diagnosis burst into a business and into relationships with extraordinary people (yes, you!), fascinating plants, and incredible places whose value and meaning cannot be put into words.
Our face oils, lotion bars, and soaps found their way into your personal routines, to beautiful shelves, and into five-star treatment rooms. What a journey it has been. I would say, as wild as the ingredients in our products.
My deepest hope is that somewhere along the way, you too experienced this aliveness through Terrain.

You are all witnesses to what a bit of curiosity, faith, and quiet exploration can lead to. I believe that when we witness transformation, we too are transformed.
The brand is pausing. The seeking isn’t.
Keep reaching higher for what nourishes you. I will too.

You May Be Wondering...
Can I still order my favorite products?
Yes, while supplies last. This is an opportunity to gather the products you love. Everything in our online store was made within the past two months.
How long will the products last?
Our oils are self-preserving and keep well for 12–18 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
When will my order arrive?
Orders will continue to ship as usual, within two business days, for as long as the online store remains open.
What will happen to my subscription?
Subscriptions will continue to be fulfilled and billed only through the end of October. If you’d prefer to receive your final shipment sooner, please leave us a note and we’ll be happy to help.
Will Terrain and its products be back?
I don’t know. The last few years have shaped an exciting picture of what the brand could become, but I’m giving it the space it deserves rather than rushing what comes next. If and when Terrain returns, the formulations will likely evolve, so the products you know will not be available again in their current form.
